This Privacy Policy explains how SatvicTech (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your information when you use ROS — our restaurant booking, ordering and messaging platform — either as a guest of a restaurant that uses ROS, or as restaurant staff.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide: name, mobile number, and (optionally) email.
- Booking & order details: tables reserved, items ordered, notes, and visit times.
- Payment status for deposits and orders. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Razorpay); we do not store your card or bank details.
- Basic device/usage data needed to operate the service securely.
How we use it
- To take and manage your bookings and orders at the restaurant you choose.
- To send you one-time login codes and order/booking updates over WhatsApp (via the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta) and/or email.
- To process refundable deposits and payments through Razorpay.
- To offer optional convenience features (order history, favourites) if you create an account.
Messaging via WhatsApp / Meta
When a restaurant has connected its own WhatsApp Business account, messages to you are sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform. Your interaction with WhatsApp is also governed by Meta’s own terms and privacy policy. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying to stop, or by contacting us.
Who we share it with
- The restaurant you book or order with (they need your details to serve you).
- Meta / WhatsApp, solely to deliver the messages described above.
- Razorpay, solely to process payments.
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
